Olga Lamm Projections

Present

Since June 2023, I’ve been projecting my artwork onto the streets of Harlem, NYC, creating spontaneous, immersive experiences.

By transforming buildings and trees into vibrant canvases, the projections turn the urban landscape into a dynamic, open-air exhibition. These projections breathe new life into my recent and earlier works, bringing them to the streets and inviting people to engage with them in real-time.

Set against Harlem’s nighttime rhythm—the sounds of music, footsteps, and city life—the projections blend seamlessly into their surroundings. As the art interacts with its environment, it evolves, transcending its creator’s identity and taking on new meaning. Conversations with passersby turn fleeting moments into shared reflections, creating an ongoing dialogue about creativity, identity, and the energy of the city. (see Projections tab above)

ID ART/TECH: Selections from the Kolodzei Art Foundation and Frants Family Collections

(*work presented - from Kolodzei Art Foundation: Olga Lamm - i (v2), 2002-2003)

This exhibition presents works by forty-five Russian, Ukrainian and Russian-American artists on loan from the Kolodzei Art Foundation and the Frants Family Collection. TMORA has partnered with the New Jersey-based Kolodzei Art Foundation before, bringing a series of fascinating shows to the Twin Cities. This third installment of the series explores the meanings of ID – from the concept in psychoanalysis (id) to the document that certifies one’s identity (ID), through creative articulations across time and media.  In 2019-2020, ID. ART:TECH EXHIBITION was displayed in Venice, Italy, New York (the National Arts Club), and St. Petersburg, Russia.
